What is UCAS Clearing?

University Clearing is a service that can help people without a University place to find a suitable vacancy on a higher education course.

You are eligible to apply through University Clearing if you are not currently holding an offer to study at University. This could be because:

  • You did not meet the conditions of your original offer
  • You have been unsuccessful in your application to other institutions
  • You have declined all of your other offers
  • You have only just decided to apply to University
